Will Your iPhone or touch run iOS 4?

iOS4, released on June 21st, brings a myriad of new features for both consumers and developers. The update, however, is the first that will not work on every iOS device Apple has sold. This guide should help you find out whether your device is compatible.

Does it have a metal back?

Did you get it after June 17, 2009 or can it capture video?
Works perfectly!
If not,

iPod touch:
Is it 64 GB?
Works perfectly!
Is it 8 or 16 GB?
Did you get it after September 9, 2008?

If you can run iOS 4, download it now! Simply plug your device into your computer and click Check for Update in iTunes. It will download and install. Enjoy!
