Google Joins the HTML5 Party

Not long after Apple launched an HTML5 demo page, Google has created a website of its own: html5rocks.com. The site overview HTML5 features, provides web developers with tutorials for harnessing them, and features a “playground” section where programmers can mess around with HTML5 code and try it out. Many people still do not realize the true nature of HTML5, some viewing it as simply an alternative to Flash video, so these exposition sites by influential companies should hopefully educate the public about the new standard’s capabilities and potential. I encourage you to check out the site now!
